Limited Indemnity vs. ACA Plans
It is important to understand the difference between individual Affordable Care Act plans and Limited Medical Indemnity coverage.
Individual ACA plans provide comprehensive coverage with high limits (typically $1 million or more) and meet federal coverage requirements.
Limited Medical Indemnity plans offer affordable premiums but restrict coverage to everyday illnesses and accidents, with capped maximum benefits per claim.
